The one you linked to is the one he bought. This happened very recently. I wouldn't have touched it myself.... and I'm pretty sure my buddy regrets it to say the least.
From my own experience with this battery from the seller… Item 3 as listed above has no effect. The quad powers up and cycles through it's routines as if the battery is a genuine DJI battery. All lighting. calibrating and warm-up routines seem normal.

That plus all the threads here about faulty firmware, compass's, the OEM battery having connection issues etc. "Trust" is kind of out the window.
In my experience there is nothing in V2 or V3 that "blocks" the use of this battery

I am posting this on behalf of wscherp above.... he is the owner of the quad but we frequently fly together.....
So I decided to document this a little more here in this thread because the quad is a Phantom 2 N.V.
So far we've had 2 complete power loss issues while flying with this "knockoff"...
My neighbor bought this battery and has experienced two complete losses of power while flying with it installed. Neither one was from a great height but the last one was high enough to completely destroy his gimbal.
Everything seems okay… All the lights work on the Phantom two. Nothing is out...
