FYI - Your Phantom is made in China too. DJI is based in Shen Zhen. There are other "similar" UAV's out there. Including, but not limited to Walkera and the like.
You can carry them on. DO NOT check them. Just expect to be stopped and "swabbed". I've never had any issues traveling internationally with my (8) P1 batteries.
