I used one without a problem. Mine is a multicard adaptor that plugs into the standard usb slot. I used the micro SD card to in the P3 to update the a/c and then put the card in the adaptor and plugged it into the usb port on the RC. All worked as it should.

What aggravates me more is the stuck-up attitude of people who consider themselves experts and don't want to be bothered by others. My local RC club is this way to the max. They absolutely shun anyone flying a quad. Unless you are flying a fuel-based machine, and have been doing so for years...

Updated this afternoon. The process worked as indicated in the directions with the exception being that neither the a/c or transmitter updates took near as long as indicated that they might. The a/c update took about 15 minutes. The xmitter update was less than five. Flew following the update...

I definitely miss GS. I installed it on my P2 and it was absolutely perfect for golf course videos. The ability to send the P2 hole to hole with adaptive turns made my videos much, much better since I could concentrate on the tilt and let the a/c fly it's route. Plus, since I tend to overcorrect...

Laugh all you want but I have been herding my goats for a couple of years with Phantoms. Up until a few weeks ago it was the P2 (P1 before that). The goats hate the Phantoms and run out in front of it - right into the pen. I can't wait to see how they react to the P3.
