That cable is called an 'on the go' adapter yes a funny name. Can find it on ebay its main use is to read a usb drive on an android tablet.

I had the same problems, did a factory reset and all the maps returned.

Map problem fixed, did a full Reset from the system settings and the maps started working. Happy Days!

Thanks for info, unfortunately lots of people have the same map problem but as yet there are no answers. I don't really need maps for the type of flying I'm doing; all I need is be well above the trees. Thanks again for your help.

Down is Sydney Australia we also have the same problem but only after the June 5 software update.

After today's update there are no maps for Australia either. The only maps we see are for China having said that I don't actually need maps for the type of flying I do.

I'm using the P4P+ and after the upgrade I don't have the cache map option. In earlier versions we had google like maps on the flight screen map providing there is an internet connection now its a blank screen with 'home' and aircraft icons. Had a short flight today, had no other problems.

After this upgrade I lost my saved maps and the only maps shown on the map download screen is for China.. Had to re-link the controller, no problems with this but even with a good internet connection the flight screen map has zero detail.

I'm a brand new flyer and can't find the 'Locate My Drone'' option or Restricted Area information on the new 1.1.30 screen yes it's a plus. Also I see there's now an option to turn off the 'shut down motors in flight' stick/RTH combination. I see both advantages and disadvantages with this...
