Just a heads up if you order from DJI Store and it ships Fedex. Direct signature required on all shipments. Meaning you have to be home to sign. You have to contact Fedex and either change address (for a $5.00 fee) or have it left at a Fedex location. Hope this saves someone some aggravation...

Hi Pat, I'm in the same spot you are and feel about the same. One thing I did was to buy a small indoor quad to play around with until the weather gets better. Not sure if this a good approach or not. I have never flown one before and it has helped me to be a little more confident.

Hello to all. Just received a Phanthom 3 standard for Christmas. Never flown a drone before so a little nervous! I ordered a small (inexpensive) drone to play around with indoors until the weather inproves. Wish me luck! Jim
