I can only comment on the Boscam as that is what I have. I have the 5802 and charger as well as the 400mw boscam Tx. I upgraded the antennas to skew planars and I can get video transfer for a greater distance then I can fly with my battery. I do not have iOSD yet so I cannot comment on it...

Just a thought, but are you sure its not just a "glare" from the red LED's on the bottom parts of the motor arms? The IMU leds....

That may be the problem, if its like my Boscam was, the dip switches were in a default all off setting, which is not CH1. I cut a small slit with an exacto knife in the plastic and moved my switches to a set Freq. You may need to do that
