It does a great job of eliminating jello and generally will make the shot look nicer.
My question to you is, does the new H3-D3 gimbal properly...
Great! It looks like those cables being available for purchase is a relatively new thing. I'll have to do that and in the meantime insulate it with glue.
Cheers.
Good point. Since the unit works, I have been given a tip to hot glue the area so it doesn't short for the time being. Unless I find a better idea, that might have to do the trick.
Thanks.
I damaged one of the connectors on the 8-pin ribbon cable while pushing it through the bottom holes of the Phantom (those holes really could be just a millimetre bigger). The connector is a bit banged up, but still connects. It's not pretty, but it connects - I've attached two photos.

My Zenmuse H3-2D is not working anymore. It used to work fine, but now is unresponsive and I can't figure out why.
Also the Phantom's GPS is not working and I am unsure if that is a related or separate issue. When connected to the Naza software assistant, it shows no option to enter GPS mode...

Cheers.
That is too bad, but at least you are still in the air! I finally figured out my issue and am back up there too. Apparently during one of the updated my control stick got reversed, so to start the motors I actually had to push the sticks up and to the corners. A quick plug into the Naza...
Did you ever figure out the issue with this one? I have the exact same problem. Tried everything including:
- Calibrated the IMU both basic and then advanced.
- Calibrated the TX
- Calibrated compass
- Warmed up IMU
- All signals go on LED status and the GPs-ATT toggle registers the correct...
