I got 5,2 Km at 120m hight without any amplifier. My trick is simply fly the bird sit on a small beach chair supporting the RC on my legs. Probably this position of the RC improve the direction of the signal toward the bird.Before flying at this position I lose the video signal at 1,5 km or so...

Msinger, you are right that circle of the IPad appears many times. I have block the maps in the DJI today and I have flown perfectly.

Msinger , do you mean to the rotation of the bird horizontally first and then with the nose toward the ground? Is there any other calibration way for the compass in the App? What do you think of doing a IMU calibration? Thanks for your help.
