Thanks for the comments. All working well now. Just never had that loud beeping for ten minutes prior to the start of the upgrade. Now I just need to figure out why my controller still says 1080k. Thanks again.
You are correct. After about 10 minutes the beeping did stop and seems to be upgrading normally now. I'll wait and see if the upgrade too this time.....
I wish! It's not. The sound I am getting is the same one it makes as if no card is installed in the Phantom. Guess it's acting like it doesn't see the card at all. Maybe one more step is try a different card. Thanks for helping.
Thanks. The bin file is on the SD card. When placed in the bird, I get the camera dance and then it starts the loud beeping (start up sound) which continues and I'm not able to do anything else.
So I downloaded the upgrade and put the bin file on the card. Everything seemed fine and checking the file afterword it said failed. NOW when I try to upgrade the bird again I get a constant loud (similar to the start up sound) but constant. I tried to go back and load the previous version but...
Like you, mine does fly well so far, regardless of the constant gimbal overload warnings. If you don't mind being distracted with warnings popping up all the time at the top of the screen, then that's fine. I disagree. Guess you feel, like DJI, it's not a big deal. Maybe that's why it's not...
They've had plenty of time to fix this...removing the lines of code in the last pilot upgrade is pretty simple. But no, we're dealing with a Chinese Company that doesn't seem to give a crap. I was told by DJI in June this would be fixed within a week.......right.
Pretty clear from your experience what the problem is. I was not able to go back to 1.1.2 and continue to have constant "Gimbal Overload Warning", and "Gimbal Overloaded" with props turning on the ground, on each and every flight. Fly's and records okay but it is very aggravating to have this...
I had my settings in IOS set to automatically download app updates. Using an Ipad Air 2. Nothing to do with the PA3. Nothing I do gets rid of the warnings...........
Just a follow up regarding my comment about Advexure. They did respond to an email I sent them this morning and said they had no record of my emails. We'll blame it on an email glitch and their response restored my faith in them. Mike said that DJI is very aware of the issue and was told a...
I know others may disagree, but I sure feel like a Beta tester that shelled out a bunch of $ to test a product. What's worse, no one at DJI has a clue about customer service. Just read the posts on problems if you doubt this thing isn't full of bugs. Even Advexure, who I purchased this from, has...
