I flew with Litchi today and got a message whilst flying that I was getting close to a restricted zone (I was not very far from an airport). I decided to turn back but would like to know what the Phantom would do if it got into the restricted area. It was not a mission, just flying using Litchi.

You can't compare the images you get from a P3P to a full fame sensor. You need to be realistic: it's about the size of a mobile phone sensor. A trick that will often help is to sharpen your DNG quite aggressively and then reduce luminance noise and (to a lesser extent) color noise by a fair...

Your images are about normal in quality. Don't compare with a modern (full frame especially) DSLR especially viewed at 100%. But with a bit of work in post they are usable

The small camera sensor is not going to give you the quality or resolution of a larger sensor. Are you using the DNG option? Can you maybe post a link to one of the better photos you have in full size (and preferably DNG) so that we can get an idea of what you consider to be "quite blurry/soft"?

I have a couple of buzzards (Buteo buteo) living near my house and I am concerned enough about them that I avoid flying my P3 near the house if they are out and about. I don't think that taking your P3 down fast is much of an option. they move a lot faster. I'd also be interested in a solution...

Have you checked your cable? Is it connected? If yes, maybe try another cable?
