I have tried 3 different cables along with 3 different chargers in all configurations - I have come to the conclusion there is something wrong with the charging circuit in the wifi extender. Will talk to DJI tomm. I have already sent an email to tech support asking for an RMA.

Straight out of the box? Did you contact DJI? What was/ is the result?

With the extender being brand new, I couldn't get it open without "marring" the case -- so no, I didn't open it up.

Ok - 13 hrs with the 2 amp charger and no joy (or lights). I can't understand what could have happened... Guess I am calling DJI tomm morning, sigh

Yes I went into wifi - it is not there. I have NO LIGHTS on the wifi extender.

yup thats the one i was using... makes the camera light go from red back to green

because the iphone app cannot connect because the wifi is not broadcasting an SSID. what else can i use to see the wifi extender other than the iphone app? am i missing something obvious here?

hmm i am turning the camera off to stop recording. is there a different way to stop recording (without the app since i have no wifi extender)? all pictures i snap with the camera are also dated 2007... Jerry

i have it turned OFF, and plugged into a wall wart (apple iPod wart). i see no lights - it has been plugged in for over half hour. Should i see any lights at this point? Jerry

Actually, I think it was ON. Guessing that means something? What is my next step?
