    Black Pearl screen blank...

Had the same problem one time....rolling video image on the BP. Somehow, the BP had gotten switched to PAL, instead of NTSC. Once I found that and switched it back to NTSC like the GoPro...all was good again! ;)

    Intermittent front right motor?

No updates, as of now. The motor has 'smoothed out' from its initial stuttering and I haven't swapped out anything yet, since I'm not noticing any more stutter in the motor. I am suspicious of it, though, and keep an eye on the motor at each flight's startup. So far, so good. I guess I'll go...

    Fisheye

Not sure if you want to eliminate "fisheye" or add it to your video. If you are looking for software to eliminate it, I use GoPro Studio, since I have a GoPro camera. Under "Import and Convert", is a tab for "Advanced Settings". In "Advanced Settings" is a Checkbox for "Remove Fisheye". I...

Nice flights, Dirty Bird! Smooth and courageous over all those homes, the water and above the clouds! You fly with confidence...Bravo!

+1 I can't wait until someone puts a 'pork belly' on a quad! I've always wanted to see a flyin' pig!!!

    United States of America Badges

Well...I wish they would spend their time fixing all their core problems, instead of giving us more badges to 'earn'. :(

    FPV Problem - DSLRPros...

A couple of things to check on the BP monitor, if you have a "rolling" image. Check that your BP monitor is set to the same channel your video transmitter is transmitting from. Also, I had a "double vision" problem (2 images on the screen) once with my BP monitor and finally figured out it...

    Flyaway Emergency Landing

PhantomPhreak - Spooky... :o Just when I start to get comfortable flying my P2, I read about something like this! It sounds like some sort of 'hardware/firmware' error, not a pilot error to me. Thankfully, you had a good recovery in the end. Your Flytrex data pretty well confirms it happened...

    Intermittent front right motor?

My right front motor has just developed this problem. I probably have around 40+ flights on the P2 and it had been fine until just recently. I just noticed it on the last flight, during start up. It settled down after about 20 secs at idle. I chanced it and took off for a flight. Everything...

H3-3D DEAD AFTER INSTALLING FIRMWARE UPDATE

Zappata007 - It's been awhile since I did this procedure, so I'm not sure I can help...but a couple of things come to mind...Are you connected to the Internet when you run the DJI Assistant software? It seems to me, you must have Internet access for it to find the necessary firmware updates...

P2 Controller (Non Vision model) Question

Can someone tell me what the pot does underneath this hole? Is this the pot for transmitter output on the DJ6 controller? Has anyone figured out if you crank it all the way clockwise, what happens? If it's been answered already, kindly point me in the right direction... Thanks for the help!

    Firmware upgrade causing jello?

Hummm...gain settings were the first thing that popped into my head, too....although I have never changed mine and know nothing about setting them or how they relate to the stability of the quad. This is another area of the Phantom I need to learn about...I've only read where others have...

    Gimbal Broken? HD-3D

I don't think it is broken, but have you tried doing a recalibration of the gimbal, yet? If not, try this -> viewtopic.php?f=37&t=23621

Encourage me or dissuade me but I'm in need of advice!

That's a tough one, Mickey78! I now have a P2 (non-vision) with H3-3D gimbal, GoPro 3+ (Silver), Mini-iOSD, Flytrex Core 2, FPV gear, etc., but I didn't start out with all of that! Piece by piece I have added to my P2 w/H3-3D and now have just a little over $2,000 in it. Yep, $2K. Am I...

    HD-3D Gimbal acting up

Thanks tferrari! Excellent info... I followed these steps to the letter and now I have FULL control of the tilt function on my H3-3D gimbal. I had been following them pretty closely, but I noticed two differences in these instructions than what I had been doing before. I was moving the "X1"...
