Video files in general are too large to send via email. Most mail systems limit max attachment size. It's also a terrible way to share video files or any large file. You are better off using something like Drop Box or uploading it to a video service like YouTube and just sending the link.

I'm glad it worked out in the end for you! From what I understand, it should automatically go into RTH mode if it loses contact with the controller for a few seconds. I have read that as a last ditch effort, you can turn the controller off, and it should return to home.

Video and Photo editing are done very differently. I wouldn't worry about it getting confusing. There isn't much cross over in skills between the two. Photoshop (including elements) is so ubiquitous that there are plenty of great resources for learning it too. Books, YouTube tutorials and more.

I have no doubt that the FAA will require some sort of certificate. What I am more curious about is, will they require some one with an Airman's certificate to get a separate certificate for sUAV operations. edit: Well I should have continued reading. sounds like they will require one.

I can't see this holding up in court. Since this is specifically about the use of cameras on public land there is no reasonable right to privacy. They can't ban one camera but allow others.
