None of the more popular, Phantom specific cases will work with the prop guards on. The custom cases are way too big in my opinion. I was tired of taking the guards on and off when I stumbled on a thread by someone who used a special heavy duty Velcro type material to clip them on and off in...
I can't recommend the t-Motors. I did not see any improvement and I had problems getting props installed properly. The stock motors really do a good job. What are you looking to improve?
I did it. Can't recommend it. No improvement at all in my opinion. In fact, caused some electrical issues. The stock motors with the stock props are fantastic.
That's great. I know with all of my batteries and my buddy's batteries, they take well over an hour each and many times up to two hours. This is on several different charges as well. It seems like it's more of a balancing issue.
Why do you imagine that carbon props will be better?
What problems are you trying to solve?
If you're still using training wheels (prop guards) what benefit do you hope to see
by switching to carbon props?
Hey, prop guards rule! I am a 10 year hardcore heli pilot now into quads and I have no...
I have never seen a 60 minute charge, unless my battery was only at 50% capacity. I have multiple chargers so no big deal. I think we need to remember our FPV setups drain some extra battery, thus our shorter flight times.
First of all, sorry for your accident. But the more I read of these stories, the more it makes me realize these things are fairly complex and not really bind and fly as they are marketed and sold. I started with a junky AR Parrot, then spent a lot of time on a basic Phantom 1, then Vision then...
Any chance any other Phantom pilots live anywhere near you? Do you have a good hobby shop within a couple hours drive? Usually these tend to be minor issues but if you are new it may be difficult to diagnose.
Yes, bad behavior, but I wonder how high he was. Any estimates? And what if he was an air traffic controller or pilot and knew the flight traffic patterns of the area?
I get between 12-14 minutes and I usually fly pretty fast and hard, full fpv setup with GoPro.
My Vision used to get a solid 23-25 minutes, that's the only thing I miss about it.
I have 4 batteries and they all get the same time. I don't fly past 25% though as I've noticed with the extra...
This is the favorite video that I have taken, mainly due to the cloud reflections in the lakes throughout the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzUi5ZBvoYc
