Thanks guys - was lucky with the weather. At Caernarfon Castle I only just got the Phantom down before there was an almighty downpour!

Haha - yeah she was with me and as long as I only spent a few minutes each day with the drone she was happy :) I did do a recent video which is on my Vimeo page of filming her testing out a new gimbal. She hasn't left me yet...

This is how you spend a honeymoon :) A week spent travelling around the stunning countryside of North Wales - Barmouth, Snowdonia, Menai, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, and a few other places. Filmed using the DJI Phantom 2 with GoPro Hero 3+ Black. Edited in Premiere Pro CS6.

Took the Phantom with me over the weekend to the Peak District in the UK. Superb weather for flying. Here's a still from some footage I shot. Update: I've put together the footage and made a little video. The Phantom wasn't that balanced so had quite bit of jello. More worked needed to balance...

For cinematography stuff I use the GoPro Hero 3+ Black: 2.7K 25FPS Medium field of view Protune On Medium sharpen Manual white balance if conditions are static That gives you a good enough image when downscaled to 1080p, and grades OK. I've used 1080P on the GoPro and it is awful.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects CS6. I'll check out your vids - interesting to see what quality the Hero 4 in 4K mode is compared to the 3+ in 2.7K.

Thanks guys. I help out there often and yep it's fun - can be hard work bedding the cows and picking apples but well worth it. Most of the shots are fairly linear so once I've practiced a bit more I'll be more ambitious with the Phantom.
