A couple of years ago, I got an nVidia Shield tablet, figuring that would be the fastest tablet and would handle the video from my Phantoms well and it has. However, nVidia hasn't upgraded the tablet with a new model since. Would love to receive advice on your opinion of the best tablet to use...
This is what I did. I set it to the max .8. I did lengthen the sticks, which may help, but I just had a much smoother response setting my P3 to .8 in the EXP settings.
I've feathered the rudders to help with slow coordinated turns, but I find it nearly impossible to get the nice slow turns that I was able to get with my P3 Pro setting the left and right gain to 80. Is there another way to adjust for a gradual response to left and right rudder? If not, may have...
Though I think the P4 camera does a more consistent Auto White Balance than my P3 Pro, I've noticed there are some shades of red that are not accurately reproduced. they come out linking pink. I've found that if I offset the hue by 10 degrees in Premiere Pro, it corrects this problem. Just a...
Not that being first is something to brag about in this situation. I got in about 3 weeks of flying and then I fired up the ship and got no picture from the camera on my nVidia Shield (a great tablet for the Phantom 3, btw). I had successfully updated and flown w/the latest firmware, so that...
Re: Is having the GoPro Hero 4 WiFi On a bad idea for P2?
Interesting, because the range is determined by the remote and not at the camera. WiFi should be the same at the camera, regardless of the remote that's being used. It's just that I'd hate to find out the hard way! On the other hand. I'd...
Re: Is having the GoPro Hero 4 WiFi On a bad idea for Phanto
Thanks, 750r. Guess I'll just live with pushing the record Start/Stop button on the GoPro as I"ve always done. Seems pretty archaic. Now that I'm shooting 4K, I'd like to save any unnecessary footage, like during long descents, so it...
I just bought the new GoPro Smart Remote with a 600' range, but after receiving it, I found out that WiFi must be turned on at the GoPro Hero4. Is this still asking for trouble to have the GoPro in WiFi mode, being that it might interfere with flight control or is that a thing of the past?
Is it safe to use the GoPro Black remote to start and stop the camera? Just wondering if there have been any reports of interference with flight control systems with the Phantom 2. Sure wish the GoPro could be started and stopped by our RC radios.

Thanks for the advice on the above posts. It would drop out of the sky (not an auto-landing) even after the software update. I was actually able to get a full refund on my Vision almost 3 months after I bought it! Couldn't believe I wasn't only offered store credit and/or a restocking fee for...
DJI's authorized my Amazon.com seller, Kellards, to refund my purchase for a Phantom 2 Vision that has the "invalid Battery" problem that persisted even after doing the requested software & firmware updates last month that would supposedly fix the problem. I'd love advice on what to replace it...
