I think what he's saying is, he crashed and it screwed up his gimbal 5 degrees. Then weeks later after a bunch of flights, a firmware update disabled his gimbal, made it wonky. It sounds like he survived the crash, but not the firmware update.

I purchased this one and it did not work well for me. I have the official Apple case which makes my phone just a little bit bigger (5s) and it didn't fit. I'm not going to take the case off every time I want to fly. It was close, but one of the straps broke in short order.

I had a phantom with intermittent front lights. If it tapped the unit they would flick on/off together. I just returned it, the lights went out of me on the second flight.

I might be wrong about this, but in the vision app for your phone, I believe the satellite icon is grey, then turns blue when a home point is set. I had 8 satellites and a grey satellite icon, then it turned blue after I got the flashing green lights. Can anyone else confirm?
