Hello Widowmaker
I have the black ones for my P3A and they raise the drone to give better clearance to the camera and add quite a bit of stability when taking-off or landing, especially if it's windy.
For my P4, I made my own extenders from spare gimble locks clips and they are wonderful...
Yes, Nigel, you are right, I meant battery run time and not battery life. Thanks for the clarification and the explanation.

When it's very cold, cell life, thus flight time reduces. In addition there is a built in battery feature that reduces flight speed/performance in cold temperatures. Cold means below freezing.
In addition the iPad battery life also reduces when below freezing.
I know....I live in Canada..!!
Here is a pic of homemade gimble guard and landing gear extenders that work perfectly.
They do not add anny significant drag nor weight but they offer stream.ine protection to the gimble and greater stability and protection when landing in rough terrain.

It's because of the smooth, shiny even colored glass table top. The visual optical sensor do not function properly on these surfaces, the same as on very calm water.
I have a P3 A and a P4. Under the exact same conditions, with both drones side by side, the P3 will register 16-18 satellite connections where as the P4 will register only 10-14.
Does anyone know about this or why ??
