Can't be done - the aircraft / controller will identify the firmware as older then current firmware and will abort the update , You'll have to wait for the next firmware...

Hi tman, Same firmware update problem like yours. I'm also in the DJI phase after trying everything: Different sdcards, Different pc's.... it's not like i'm want the update so much. It's just that i'm afraid to stuck in a loop of corrupted firmware on the aircraft and not be able to update...

try to contact DJI support maybe the salvation will come from there...

Will try that, although from my experience if the zip file corrupt it will not extract or will show error on extraction.
