Yeah thats what I reckon too. I ended up getting 3 extra batteries and an extra charger, seemed more logical.

Yeah I know. Its $630 down under, I can get a couple batteries and couple chargers for the same price or less. I just wonder if it might give you a longer battery life?

What about the SPCP3 smart charger, it does four batteries at once and can even deep cycle any of the batteries at the same time. if money was not an issue for me I would by that for sure! Its not made by DJI but it is made specifically for P3 smart batteries.

Have you tried Kogan.com? They say "in stock" but also reckon "ships in 1-2 weeks". So yeah, dunno if they're any good. I just decided to go with my dealer and wait patiently.

Think yourself lucky your not in Australia. We pay AUD$205 for batteries, and the P3A is $1550, and the P3P is $1950. Pretty sure its conversion + shipping and taxes etc. Still, Ive spent over $2500 so far. Not complaining though, it'll be worth it when my extra batteries and case arrives!

Hey mate, Im Aussie too, really the only differences for the $400 is 4k mode and faster charger. Having said that, I ended up going with professional. I figured if I'm gonna drop a bunch of cash on a hobby craft, I may as well get the best one i can afford. Yeah I know Im a salesman's best...

Has anyone used, or know much about, the SPCP3 smart charger? It charges or deep cycles 4 batteries at on time, supposedly the deep cycle discharges to 8% then automatically recharges to full capacity. What I would like to know is, does this process extend the batteries life? At $630 :eek: (here...

Nice work mate! some really cool shots, especially the churches. Its looks good backing out and up. Really gives me confidence to know that was your first footage, seeing you fly around buildings and over water etc. Cant wait to get up there.
