I have 16 flights about 2 hours total, on Firmware 1.8.10 and GO APP 3.1.3 Android running on a dedicated Nvidia Shield K1 . I have not encountered any issues, however, I have not pushed the envelope and have been vLOS (Visual Line of Sight) at all times.
Before spending lots of energy investigating the hardware be sure you have considered environmental factors. Even slight differences in breeze (wind) will impact the Phantom 3 Standard's ability to hold its hover. The number of GPS satellites will also play into this equation. My own...
Probably a dumb question, but why would you want to stream live video to Facebook? Seems much better to edit the video into an interesting clip them post it.
I just started using a dedicated Nvidia Shield K1 and it is excellent. I have been flying on cold clear sunny days and while a sunshade might help, I'm not inclined to use one because the K1 is fairly visible in the sunlight. Only have three flights for a total of about 30 minutes on this...
I like ProShow Gold. They have a large and varied selection of music, "wizards" to create video shows from your raw clips and the ability to adjust almost any aspect of the video. Trimming and control of video color and saturation are also in this program. You can combine photos and video in...
Can you, or did you find the missing rotor blade? It would be informative to know if the hub was cracked or if the internal threading in the hub showed evidence of being "cross threaded". There is no way to know for sure what caused the separation but it seems to me likely that the loss of a...

Turn your remote control on
Turn on your Phantom 3
Connect your viewing device
Select "Camera"
On the right had side of the screen; tap the "menu" button that is on top of the camera control window
Tap the little movie camera icon
Select Video...
I have worked with both file formats. You will see no difference on what ever size screen you use to view your clips or movies. I use MP4 most often because not all of my video capture devices record video in the MOV format. The most important factor is to get lots of capture so you can edit...
