Did a search "pause in recording movie"....

Well that's cool, it isn't you and you've sorta diagnosed the issue. Amongst other choices, you can now either get the computer up to speed or you could just shoot in HD BUT another option, especially if your editing your footage, is to shoot in 4k and create proxy files, do your editing then...

Did a search "pause in recording movie"....

Hi Drifter, likely nothing you did wrong. I didn't watch your whole video but if you search for video freezing on playback, there are tons of info. If your shooting in 4k , it, likely your computer isn't up to speed with the datarate of the 4k video. You try downsampling the video to HD and see...

    image transmission (lack of)

Do you remove the gimbal clamp( assume you call it brace) before you power up the aircraft? The camera and gimbal need to be free prior to powering on as is it does it's calibration movement on powerup. Don't know what you refer to as rubber grommet. Our procedure is remove the gimbal clamp...

Using Firefox 68.0 win 7 Pro 64bit. All works good except the header flashes. Sometimes twice, sometimes more. Especially when I start scrolling the page, ( header seems to change shape at that point) Also happens on Commercial Forum. There it once flashed steady and locked the page up.Only...

    Camera Settings P4

Since the OP is NOT creating a production or an photograph, only searching in the enviroment for a rocket and/or chute, if he exposes for the shadowed area he is interested in , he can can let the highlights blow out

    Camera Settings P4

Sure. I mistook that you were shooting video , then scanning frames, which might make sense. I assume these are rockets that tracked off into a treed area. Are the chutes a specific color? You could do a color pass filter and boost that color so that any other color would be black and white...

    Camera Settings P4

I would use ISO100 and no ND filter. Expose for the shadows your looking for details in. This should give you high enough shutter speed to reduce blur to mostly nothing during daylight hours, assuming a somewhat slow speed of flight. either 24 or 30 fps. Cinelike is good if you intend to post...

P3 pro. In storage 2 years

Not being a smarty pants here but if you have not flown in a couple of years, are you using the double press to power on? Someone I know had done exactly that and had forgotten the startup procedure.

Can you guys confirm which drone this may be?

almost looks like a hot air balloon basket with anti collision lights which hang below. adding that that lights seem to be a short distance from the "body" object and they are illuminating mostly the bottom

Black bars at top and bottom of video

Ok, wonder if you could get back to us, what resolves the issue. Thanks

Black bars at top and bottom of video

Ok, strange. You said " I've tried all combinations of 4K, and UHD each with 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, and yet the bars remain, always. Not sure I understand how aspect ratio affects the video, but I'm not an expert, so... " The native video you shoot at 4096 x2160 isn't 16:9 but the 3840 x 2160 is...

Black bars at top and bottom of video

I was responding for the youtube video question by the OP. I think he is mixing resolutions , possibly on a 4096 x 2160 project. So Ruckert, where are you seeing the black bars? and you say " but the top bar remained " are you only seeing a top bar and not a bottom bar?

Black bars at top and bottom of video

Are you uploading video to youtube as 3840 x 2160 mp4 ? And that is where you see bars?

Black bars at top and bottom of video

as grone said, it is likely the resolution setting. do you shoot 4k? so there may be different frame sizes, 3840 x 2160 or 4096 x 2160 . The top one was likely 4096 x2160. The bottom one at 3840. Youtube likes 3840, so it works as is. If you upload the 4096 they proportionly narrow it to 3840...
