400' altitude is to be observed in the US unless you have a waiver that allows you an exception.

We use DroneDeploy for jobs like this. We recently did a large swath of land that included hotels, interstate, and woodlands. Scroll down this page to see the example I'm referencing. It took just a couple less than a 1,000 photos to make this none image.

I have both controllers and when I'm not utilizing a third party app for mapping, I always relink the + controller and use that as it is faster on startup, brighter, and appears to have less lag than my other controller while utilizing my android phone.

Whatever you go with, I'd highly recommend you look at purchasing from the microsoft store. Unless you build out your own, you will likely spend hours removing junkware from a new PC.
