I'm not entirely sure what they do but had the same issue a couple of months ago. I tried to solder but it's not that kind of joint and in the end I glued it down and it works fine. There are a one or two blank places on the board for these things, which I found odd, and also only three of them...
I'm sure the local news team would be interested in this, maybe even try some of the national/international outlets too (the BBC here in the UK have the floods as a top story). I wouldn't bother trying to sell it, to save yourself issues of FAA guidelines and tax declaration on second income...
I bought a couple of cases from TriFibre and they were great in terms of price and service - even delivering Saturday at no extra cost. Am waiting for the right size case to be back in stock for my P3P and will then be travelling all over with it as I did with my P2 V+
+1 on the above. Your biggest problem with quality is going to be the hardware codec the camera uses to compress that data it receives from the sensor. The better the quality of what is captured to begin with, the better the end result. It's why professionals prefer to bypass the hardware codec...
Took the other 'golden hour' before sunset yesterday and captured some amazing temples. The RTH kicked-in at one point and bought me closer to the spire than I would have liked but it turned out to be an incredible shot. This could have ended very differently though! :shock...
It's just practise, I also hold the stick right at the bottom and don't get distracted by the FPV on the phone, what it relays and what is being recorded are two quite different things.

I did the mod last weekend and have noticed almost no difference in either the number of satellites acquired or the time for acquisition. I seem to teeter on the edge of five and eventually six after anything up to 10 minutes, which is disappointing compared with the reports from other people...
