Geez! Whole lotta material here! To answer the original question. I'd just monitor the tower frequency on a hand held scanner. There's really no need to communicate with pilots (manned aircraft ). You just need to know their location and stay out of their way. Hope this helps you.
Hello Patrick, I just thought of something... Do you have an App like magnetology that will tell you the KP index?? I have several Apps that will tell me the the earth magnetic interference. Check out Magnetology /Drone Buddy/UAV Forecast/ & my favorite Hover. Hang in there we'll figure this out.
Hi Patrick, I have internet but I don't know how to get around this Phantom Pilots forum too well, I just found my notification tab, lol!
I am glad to hear that you solved your problem on your connections.
Your antennas should be at 45 degrees if you fly out up and away. Straight out if you...
Hello, it seems like quite a few flyers having trouble with the new update (1.8). Have you updated? if so, what has changed? I don't really want to update mine because everything is working fine.
You listed most of the popular brands, and different #'s have different effects on your videos & pics. #8 & #16 seems to be used often by flyers. I found in the classifieds that college geezer is selling filters for $2. I'll get a few and see how my videos/pics turn out.
Here's the link that I watched on YouTubehttps://youtu.be/9NnW62aFaLE
I will check it out when I have a chance, since I have I have 1.5 on my RC / 1.7 on P3A. Yes I do agree not everything on the net is true. I do apologize for putting out info that I myself haven't tried.
It doesn't work? I saw it on you tube! I'm working on long distance flying now and when I find a good spot for high altitude flying I was going to try it out. My bad, I should've tried it out myself before getting everybody all happy.
Gotta climb that mountain huh? Fly up to max altitude and when you get a warning beep/message, hit the "return to home" button. When the bird is in RTH mode push left stick up to gain altitude (500m +)then cancel the RTH
I never noticed a time stamp in the app showing last charge on a battery. You have your batteries numbered, so keep a small notebook in your case showing the date & time of your last charge. I use my iPhone or iPad to take notes. [emoji2]
