Checked this today. Ran a magnet over the tape I had marked with my FCC number and got no reaction. Guess my compass issues were not related to the paint pen.

Could be, I’m a noob with drones. Still learning how these work. At any rate, it is working properly now.

That’s how I originally marked it, with a piece of tape.

Could not calibrate the compass. Tried multiple times with no success.

Just want to share this with the community. I used a silver paint pen to add my FCC reg. Number to my P3S. Apparently the paint contained some amount of metal and it totally compromised my compass. Took a little scratching my head to figure it out. Removed it and all is well again.

Can you tell me where to find it in dji go?

Flew my P3S today for the first time with my iPad Air and I noticed that the feed from the aircraft was corrupted with diagonal lines showing in some parts of the screen. It seemed to be confined to the areas with high exposures (very light items). Must be a setting needs changed . Any ideas?

Just checked again this morning and now see that flight logs are accruing to both my AC name and the previous owner’s AC name with same stats on both. Oh well, my logs come up on the first page so I guess I can just ignore the other logs.

Bought a used P3s Saturday and previous owner had a nickname set up which now has been assigned to my logs. It seems that there are duplicates in my logs with my nickname and the one of the previous owner. Is there any way to delete this nickname or do a rest on the AC to clear out this old...

Just bought a Phantom 3 last Saturday and have flown it about five times now. Found this forum and I am looking forward to learning how to fly and exploit all the features of my AC. I hail from Georgia, 63 years old, retired, and kinda a gadget guy, but totally in over my head right now.
