My policy is to fly "under the radar." You may be within your rights 100%, but if being hassled you're bothering some neighbors. Fly elsewhere and try not to let anyone see you takeoff or land, or generally disturbing anyone. Like someone else said, flying at home gets old right quick in terms...
Don't be so sure. I had to rebuild mine completely to replace the shell a while back after I noticed cracks under a motor.
DJI didn't know, or they didn't care. I didn't get an itemized list of what they repaired, but they fixed it for absolutely no cost, and it has a new shell. I feel your...
ESC is probably bad hardware. DJI replaced it for free as long as it's less than a year old. It took a few weeks but it's flying as good as new with the new mainboard and firmware.
I was beginning to chalk this up to coincidence and hardware failure. Now there is a third person reporting the same issue on Facebook (not pixelAIR). I'm sure the ESC is shot as the error states since it persists after downgrading.
I just hope this firmware isn't somehow contributing to it...
Thanks, I hope you don't have to deal with this. It looks like the ESC seems to randomly fail judging by the sheer number of posts like this one over the past year and a half. I am just hoping DJI covers this under warranty since I did nothing to cause failure.
That being said, I'll probably...
What's frustrating is that the speed controllers are almost certainly fine since we were both able to fly and land successfully at first.
I'm not really keen on sending this out for repairs just yet. Hopefully we don't have a unicorn problem here and enough others see this issue to warrant a...
Negative. I successfully flew around using a full battery. When I try to fly again with any battery including the one that originally worked I get the error message.
I am on with DJI support. They have nothing useful so far.
I have the exact same issue. I flew 1 battery perfectly fine, popped in #2 and got the same error message you are seeing.
To answer your question on downgrading, you just put the old firmware .bin file in the root folder and restart the aircraft. It will go through the cycle and downgrade you...
