Just got the lead for my newly acquired Hero 3 ( had a hero 2 and lead before ) The connections are 3 individual wires as opposed to a multi plug. The 3 wires coloured black ,white and yellow, the 5.8 Tx has 5 pins which did have the original multiplug , Can anybody advise as to wiring...

Got a gimbal on the way, was going to use the grey/red aux power wires ,but now have read some stories of cable overloads and meltdown, which way to do I go ? do I use the battery balance plug and use main battery power or strap on an aux battery to power the gimbal , suffering the extra weight...

Found out last night that the lad had had the lid off the phantom ( to have A LOOK! ). So went up to Quadcopters in Chorley , They soon fixed it, somebody when the top was off had reconnected the compass lead into the wrong port, I wonder who? Culprit in school at the moment probably...

Flown today and still flashing orange, in GPS mode, but not stopping in hover, carries on drifting , quite wobbly (technical term ! ). just plugged it in to the computer, everything looks OK, but compass is showing 00 00 00 so that maybe the problem, any thoughts gratefully received...

I have been given a 6 battery balanced charging plate, my question is. what would be your suggestions for a charger a use with it, Cheers Ian

Just taken receipt of a new Phantom. I can't get the motors to run what am I doing wrong? I took it out of the box assembled landing gear and props charged battery . I turn on transmitter, connect the charged Li po battery, the craft immediately plays its tune and I then did the compass config...
