    First 5000ft plus flight!

I've tried every combination of colors. White is the best hands down. But the prob is you can't tell which was you're facing if you're trying to bring it in. I've tried red on one side and green on the other like a plane but at a distance they're to close together to differentiate from each...

    First 5000ft plus flight!

Well I'm CERTAIN that you're wrong! There is plenty of legal ways to perform flights like this without "air clearance". And if you knew all the suggested guidelines and rules you'd know that. I can't speak for anyone but myself of course but I don't break any of the before mentioned...

    First 5000ft plus flight!

I have a phantom 3 standard and I bought my mounts from aerial-pixel.com The 1 strobe that's facing straight down I have mounted to my Gimbel brace with very strong Velcro.

    First 5000ft plus flight!

I can't speak highly enough for the strobon strobes. I have 2 green one the rear and 2 red on the front in -45° mounts and a white one facing straight -90° down. I can see my drone about 2 miles until the colors start to seem blue. During a bright day it's much shorter. But I can even tell...

I'd be pretty pissed if there was a post flaunting flying over a mile up in airspace also! Don't blame ya

I think you're mixed up. Everyone is talking about distance out not altitude. I don't really even like going as high as 400'. Usually stay around 200'

    First 5000ft plus flight!

I was in country area, on my families tobacco farm. Clear line of site. Was testing how far I could see my 4 strobon strobes. And at just over 2 miles I was able to still see them and tell my orientation. And my speed was on the way back. My battery was getting low so I switched to atti to...

    First 5000ft plus flight!

11,493' is my furthest flight. And I have zero mods. It's possible just need to pay attention to signal and keep readjusting the antenna and R/C angle. Height plays a big role also. And an area with no WiFi congestion will drastically help. (Check out top speed. I keep trying to get...

    Grabbing at every straw possible

Unfortunley you won't be able to now. But it WAS a post to bring awareness of a FAKE claim that regardless of what these clowns here think, a GOOD number of people are spreading and even being mentioned as theories on major news outlets that hurts the drone community. Especially being the 3rd in...
