after lots of thoughts I sold my baby. It was hard to do after all those hours of happy flying, reading, learning patching etc. but I intend to buy a mavic pro before summer. Hope the new owner is as careful as I was with it... Bought it for 500 euros @ June and sold it for 400...

amazing range! My setup was for testing purposes and since i was able to travel @ 2.500 meters I stuck with it. Will try directional setup soon and report back guys.

I think that if I use windsurfers to all my antennas then I will get a much more "directional" setup which will probably give me more range. I will try directional antennas though (flat panels) in my 2 2.4GHz just to check but at this time my video and telemetry are more stable than my 5.8Ghz...

Took a test flight today to capture one of the small islands nearby. Range was fine @ 2.2 km... Video and telemetry signal were just fine but I need to do something with the 5.8Ghz since it was dropping first.... Might try directional 5.8 antenna before playing with amps... PS: Lots of...

I found this video Author claims that "i was 1km. i can do that by when it reaches its altitude limit, set it into return to home mode but not directly above the point of takeoff, then it can go higher than 500 meters" dont know if latest firmware versions fixed that
