Not frames per second, but megabits per second. I have never upgraded the firmware on my P3P. I only use the iPad for flying and don't know how it updated to the newest software, but it did. I'm beyond floored that it only captured at 30mbps.

I can't see how they could sell a Standard for under $300. You gotta figure the battery is worth around $120. That leaves the bird, RC, props, charger, gimbal and camera for $180.

The windsurfer really does work. I've taken my P3S out to 6100 feet over a field at around 200 ft elevation. Without it I was getting around a third of that distance.
