Thanks RodPad. All I can say is two spots that I calibrated and flew from with the issues are areas I have flown many times before. The time with the FlyAway was in an open field.

Wibble...I was hoping for the same thing. I switched to ATTI mode with no change. HWCM...good thought on the controller, but this wouldn't explain the continued 'fly away' after I selected RTH.

Thanks msinger. The camera did not detach from the gimbal mount, it was the j arm that broke. I will definitely get some sort of back up to that arm for the next drone/camera. Seems like a weak point.
