It Worked! But it is very odd because I had updated before and couldn't get it to connect. So apparently something happened with the initial update that caused my IMU error. I am "cooling down" the craft and will re-try the IMU update and I pray it succeeds this time! Thanks for your suggestion!

I am pro-capitalist and admire HD charging for the service. Unfortunately I do not like the fact that Eran has taking to overcharging for the site. I am willing to pay or use a free log or log converter. I have seen some mention of people doing work as good or even better than what Eran has done...

hehe. Being a new pilot myself, I know your feelings. Yesterday I finally trusted my preflight checks and equipment enough to actually start testing the limits of what my P3 Pro can do. I flew it out 5394 feet with no issues. I posted the video on my other thread.

Just an update. Once I had aircraft on and opened DJI GO, I was able to see the distant was actually set, so I turned that setting OFF and later was able to fly as far as I wanted. (I went out to 5394 feet). I now will be testing how far I can go while keeping a solid signal. This was the flight...

;) I'll know for sure tomorrow when I get a chance to try it, but I am sure that is what was the issue. Just glad it wasn't an "imposed" limit by DJI as I had first suspected......

I had a great LOS as I was flying up and down the Columbia River...Wide and long lines of site. Turns out that it was me making a newbie mistake (I am hoping). VCTECH answered me in the Litchi forums and got me thinking.... below was my response to his questions: Your answer got me thinking...

I have not tried it beyond 1640 in the Go app, just in the Litchi app. I set the Litchi for 5000 foot then increased it to 10,000 then 20,000 then 30,000 with no ability to go past 1640 foot / 500 Meters.

Does the DJI Go app apply when I am using Litchi Now? I do have the Go app on my tablet still, but have been using Litchi the last two days.... regardless I'll check that setting in go. Appreciate the quick response! (edit) Just confirmed in the Go App that I already had that disabled.....
