    Quite lucky that it didn't burn up the wifi card as output could be un-metered and blow the transmit diode. The card may have a fault protect to prevent this however.

    Mine did the same thing. Just let it keep squawking that God awful noise.It took around 45 - 50 minutes for mine to complete. It was a terrible first experience with a DJI product.

    --- Open it up, there are several videos on how to do this (4 screws and gently rock the bottom side to side to un-mate the antenna housing) and see if your antenna are connected. It will take less than 3 minutes to make that determination. If they are, I'd exchange the drone.
