What processes and systems do you require from operators? Things like pre-flight and post-flight check list, maintenance logs, etc.

My certificate was available this morning. So 7 business days from the time I took exam on 8/29. Monday was a holiday. No email received as someone else noted.

She didn't say specifically how long each step takes. She did mention that vetting is part of the one week time line. Monday is also a holiday. Just a guess, but maybe vetting is why current pilots are getting through faster.

I just spoke with a very nice woman at the registry office to get a better understanding of the process. She confirmed that folks with pilot licenses are going through immediately. She said it will probably take up to a week to receive a temp for non pilots. 4 weeks until you get the plastic...

That's probably true statistically. Most are probably around 100 IQ points or so. Myself included, lol.

The FAA doesn't seem to have that position. The FAA has invested a lot of resources into creating the pathway, so like or not, here we are. I think the educational aspect is very positive for the industry as a whole.
