You live in SoCal ? Where did you have to send it? I thought it was also Cal. If that is true one would hope you would be hearing something soon. Also, did DJI cover the cost of shipping.

Are you possibly willing to share the jest of this email which triggered the desired response from DJI ? May go that route as well.
So is there any meaning to the beeps, or is that just more speculation?
For example, does this video even tell us anything about the motors and whether the ESC's are compatible or not ?

I thought I did read in a post that DJI stated a mark was made on the capacitors of v2 ESC's. Mine does have a blue mark on each capacitor. Who knows if that is accurate though.
Think I will avoid flying over water for a while just to be safe :)

Thanks for the clarification. Mine has only numbers to the right of the QR code on the white sticker.
Board has a V2 stamp. I made sure to lift wires off the mosfets.
So, do you think this is cause for alarm?
Not so sure you will know what you will get even if you wait. I have an older serial # than you but it seems I possibly have newer ESC's.

Here is my P2V+ V3 info
Serial # = PH645395
Order date = 12/15/94 from Adorama in NYC US
WIFI module = Does not have vent holes.
ESC's = labeled V2 and has a blue mark on the nearby capacitor. Also a circled K or H near the square cutout.
Beeps = Startup tone only with no red led's like the...
