Greetings, During the upgrade of the controller firmware my batteries died. :-( Now even with fresh batteries the controller doesn't appear to work at all. Is there any recovery options for me? Thanks

I have a P2 V+ battery that I think has aged to death. :-( I left it sitting too long. Is there anyway to recover it, or is it only good for being dumped into battery recycling? Also can someone point me at a good resource for how long a battery can be left and when it should be recharged to...
