Anyone recommend a Phantom 3 Standard Case? under $100?

Sometimes you can, however after the exchange rate, then they gouge you on shipping it often comes out to nearly the same price. Do you have a link for the $98 one?

The official one is over $200 in Canada at BestBuy. There is a decent looking knock off for about $100 on Amazon.ca

Anyone recommend a Phantom 3 Standard Case? under $100?

I just picked this case up on sale at Princess Auto in Canada for $74.99 (reg. $124.99). Internal dimensions are 22" x 13 3/4" x 9" with all foam removed. 22 in. Impact Resistant Portable Tool Box | Princess Auto SCRATCH THIS CASE! They answered my question about the internal dimesions...

I'm very happy with this hard travel case for my Phantom 3

Thanks! I notice you bought a "knock off" battery. I've seen a couple of these, not sure if I'm comfortable putting my trust in them just to save a few bucks. I look forward to hearing how you do with it and what your experience is.

Do you have a link? The review above isn't displaying on my system.

    1080P Vs. 2.7K

I've been using OpenShot (OpenShot Video Editor | Simple, powerful, and free video editor for Linux!) for a while now. Very simple to use. I'm thinking about switching to something more powerful as I find the colour correction options to be awkward to use.

Seeking advise from all levels of drone operators

I was also very torn between the Pro/Adv and Std. For me though I couldn't justify the cost of even the Std. The recent sale price finally dropped it into my range, but I was still torn with waiting until I could afford the Pro/Adv or jumping on the Std. I finally just bit the bullet and went...

    I was stupid, but lucky.

I was definitely connected, it wouldn't let me in that menu otherwise. I was pretty sure I hit done afterwards, and later when I flew again the settings were still there. These settings also got me thinking that a minimum altitude would be a good idea, with an override for landing. Would be...

I let it rip today. (Stock) 4031ft

On land higher up helps because it means less obstacles in between me and the P3S. Over water this wouldn't make much difference. For your overhead signal loss, keep in mind your antennas they aren't usually directed upwards. The time I went to 500m I had to hold the controller pointing up to...

    I was stupid, but lucky.

So I thought if I set the height and distance limits as low as they can go and went in the middle of my yard I could "safely" let my kids try my P3S. Set the height at 20 m, and distance at 15 m. Let it reset the home location and launched. To test it I climbed to about 4 ft off the ground I...

I let it rip today. (Stock) 4031ft

That's about what I got over the bush behind my place. I was at 1,232 m (4,042 ft) away when the signal totally crapped out and it started heading home. I was at 120 m (400 ft) up at the time. I think if I was higher it would have been able to go further as it would have reduced the trees in...

Flying over 400ft Altitude with my P3S? o.O

I should point out I'm in Canada, the air traffic here is no where near as busy as in the US. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen aircraft overhead and in all cases they were many thousands of feet up and could only be seen because of their contrail. Also I wasn't flying...

Flying over 400ft Altitude with my P3S? o.O

Not very long at all. Checking the Flight Record in the DJI-GO app it took about 1 min 45 sec to go from 120 m (400 ft) to 500 m (1,640 ft). Coming down seemed to take a lot longer as it ascends faster than it descends.

Flying over 400ft Altitude with my P3S? o.O

Yeah we regularly see plenty of deer wild turkeys. I'm actually taking an archery course at the end of the month, though I doubt I will hunt, well maybe turkey. Hypothetically do you think a deer would be spooked enough by a drone flying above the treetops to actually be herded towards a...

Flying over 400ft Altitude with my P3S? o.O

This time a year when the trees are bare you could totally spot deer. 400ft would be plenty for that, then fly down to just above the tree tops for a closer look. I'm not a hunter though, so I'd just be doing it for some good pictures.
