I was flying it in hawaii off some cliffs over the ocean and rhe winds coming off the cliffs would not allow it to fly back to me. The mph returning to my was .2 mph. I was so lucky to get it back.

Just curious what happened when you go to far and lose signal. I lost signal for the first time the other day and it gave me the option to rth. Will it always give you that option? If it loses signal, how does it send the signal to rth? Any chance it may not give you that option? Oh and i lost...

I am a newby and just purchased a phantom 4. I have taken about 1000 feet away but then got scared when it started to go out of site. How far away can you fly a phantom 4 before it loses connection. If it loses connection, will it come home automatically?
