This maybe old news but I just logged in over at DJI to check what the forums over there were saying and saw this at the bottom of my account page......

It is a Tracker that doesn't require a Cell phone signal. Bit pricey, but your not paying monthly and some of the places I plan to fly might have spotty cell service.

My new P3P took to the Air for the first time yesterday and I did the Killer RC gimbal saver, the Marco Polo tracker and an if found call sticker before it was allowed in the AIR.
Other than that 2 extra batteries and prop guards I haven't put on yet. Next is a case.

Definitely Old motors and looks like old shell am double checking that... Wondering if I should return and try for new and new?
****Update shell is new on my P3P, but motors are old.
That is what I don't like is a couple of idiots giving the media a chance to stir the pot.
The guy they talked to said it right...If you see a emergency aircraft in the area, get on the ground fast.

My problem with the whole report was the way they introduced it in the video package and the "We had no idea who was operating the drones, where the drones were being operated, what their intent was,"
It was a few curious guys who's "intent" was to get a look at what was going on....duh!
I guess my point was if one of the lead news stories has the director of Star Flight saying drones stopped us from saving people and a local police chief on the news about a month ago saying we don't want these thing flying in the city limits...What do you think the general uninformed public's...
