I have. to mount my P3S on my Mac manually. try this:
To get the FAT32 microSD card to mount in Mac OS X use the
command line:
sudo hdiutil attach /dev/disk1s1 -shadow ~/Desktop/shadow
If your Mac has more than one hard drive for disk # may be different.
From the same FAA page referenced by msinger above is a link on how to label the UAS. Yes, it can be in the battery compartment.
https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/fly_for_fun/media/UAS_how_to_label_Infographic.pdf
From the FAA page that singer referenced:
"Before you fly outside you must:
Register your UAS if it weighs more than 0.55 pounds and less than 55 pounds
Label your UAS with your registration number
Read and understand all safety guidelines"
The second bullet seems pretty plan english to me...
Sorry this took so long. Each time you connect the Phantom to your Mac in Flight Data Mode you must go through the steps I put in the document.
If this is not answering your question please provide more detail.
Greg
It should be in /usr/sbin
What version of Mac OS X are you running? Do you know if Xcode or XQuartz has been installed? You will find either of them in the Applications/Utilities folder. If one of these has not been installed you may need to do it first. Xcode is on the Apple app store and it...
I am glad it was useful, having to wait an hour each time to image the microSD was a pain. Right you are, I am working to fix it up a little and will take your suggestion.
I would recommend putting it back the way it belongs. being separated could be putting stress on the arm. This video shows how they come apart, it should give you enough information to take the correct screws out of the arm and snap the case back together.
Post a picture if you can. It would help.
Hi,
I am looking for a failed Mainboard from a Phantom 3 to use as a demo in a presentation.
Please let me know if you have one you would be willing to part with.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi all,
I have attached a PDF that will show you how to mount the Phantom on the Mac so you can see it just like any other external drive. There are several steps, but in the end you can copy individual .DAT files versus making a .DMG of the entire microSD card.
