Another issue I ran into is the news station requires a 1080i output.... phantom controllers only output 720p. Fixed by pairing phantoms with inspire 2 controllers. What a nightmare this ordeal has been but I'm glad it's over.

Thanks for the reply. Is this the only work around? Do you think a micro usb to HDMI adapter would work? Is there any reason they would remove the HDMI capability?

I didn't realize the P4P package I bought came with a radio that has no HDMI port...... I was hoping to use it for live broadcasting with LiveU and TVU. Anyone have a fix for this? I need the HDMI out on the controller but I only see a usb and micro port. Thanks!

Not sure, will hopefully include useful upgrades; the firmware updates have been all the upgrading I need. The jump from 3 to 4 didn't really impress me at all, either. Been loving my p3 Pro (save a few issues) and don't see a need to upgrade.

Are there warranty/DJI Care issues that might be void if your aircraft isn't fully updated and it crashes?

So it now says I need to update my battery. I tried downloading the newest firmware update (3/15/2016) and it didn't work. Is there a separate update process I need to do for the battery? It's really going to be a bummer if I have to send it back again.

Here's a question for arguing dickwads and non arguers alike: is it worth selling the P3 and paying the difference to get the 4? Are the new features worth the few hundred dollars? Bummer that the P3 Pro's price has dropped.... I'm very happy with my 3 and will most likely not exchange, but...

Got it back today, pretty quick, but didn't expect it to take long seeing as only the firmware wouldn't update. Kind of odd though how i didn't get any report on what was wrong or how they fixed it. Just a notification that it had shipped and now it's here. Anyway she's fixed!

Sent my bird in exactly a week ago, just got a confirmation email that it has been received. Let's see how long this takes, fingers crossed.
