Good information thanks for this. I'm curious to hear how this goes for you. I too have a trip planned the middle of Nov, not sure if you'll be back by then but keep us updated. I go to Trinidad on the 12th and Tobago on the 14th where I plan to do some flying.

So what happens if you lost the bird in water and unable to recover will they cover that as well? Or would I have to tell them it was stolen for them to cover it.

I got the Manfrotto Backpack 3N1-35 PL for half the price of the one that DJI sells last year for my phantom 3. Fits the P4 perfectly and never had any issues flying with it. Fits in overhead and under seat. Also fits my remote with the Itelite mod which is great.

Thanks Bighi. I get decent range so far but not like my advance. I just need a more reliable connection.

On my P3 I have the old motors not the new ones. So more power is good then I would imagine.
