Have you touched the arrow on the upper right of the screen. I leave it pointing up(north is always at the top) but if you push it it allows you to view the screen relative to the position of the Android.

I got that same reply from Litchi several months ago. I am not sure if GO gets it right since I rarely use it.

I am using the Moto x pure with no problems.

You were at 210m with GO and 135m with Litchi. Litchi might have shown significant improvement if at 210m.

I asked them if their app would be useful in US and Canada and they said NO because we are already at 27dbm. They said it may be useful here to use channel 13 which we don't get stock.

I understand the need for Nigel and the CE folks to use software just don't think we need it. Now to DBS and ARGtek. I like the flexibility of the ARGtek system to use omni antenna for close in work and the paddles for long distance. How difficult. do you find the fixed directionality of the DBS...

I guess 13 would be safe to use on my farm out in the country but I question the value in that environment with very little other wifi signal around.

Thanks Nigel. I don't doubt it works. My concern is its usefulness in the US. Channel 13 might be useful but probably not worth messing with the system to get it. Think I will go with DBS or ARGtek to get better video and range.

Is Icarus any use at all in the US/FCC area? I am losing my video signal way before control and would like to improve it.

Thanks Nigel. Looks like you get 3 times the distance easily. My stock p3s gets 1500m here in pretty open country but I lose video earlier. I would be very happy with 3000m and solid video. Just waffling between this mod and DBS at the moment.

That looks like a great place to fly. Did you fly here before upgrades? If so, how much did your upgrades improve your range?
