My P3 does the exact same thing since the latest firmware firmware update. Doesn't hold altitude / hover under 10 feet. Turned off vps and does fly better.. awaiting next firmware upgrade or patch.. never had issues until this update...

Exact same result here with my P3. Went online with DJI 24hr chat and they told me its OK, and was successful. Said not to worry about it. Unclear why no blue light or sound on controller if successful, and why reading 1.1.8 if it's 9 ?

P2 and P3 batteries are different. I pre-ordered my P3 thIs week and thought I'd be able to use the 3 batteries I have for my P2. Also P2 with 3 batteries for sale now... :-)
