Yeah, mould line. Technically it's the 'shut line' of the mould...... if dji had spent enough on the mould then the line wouldn't be visible, then again it's not a cosmetic part so not so important really.
I did the 3.12 update for no reason other than it was there. My phantom now flies differently than before, i.e. not as well. I wish I could get it back to 3.08..... I won't update again unless there is major benefit as I am scared it gets even worse!

No probs here, except with gulls..... One time one almost collided with my p2v+v3, I couldn't descend fast enough due to the restrictions.

You lot are mad! Imagine trying to get your gf's / wives etc interested in rc, they would then know what things cost..... And that really wont do........ Lol
I did the update but not flown since. I did do a advanced IMU calibration, compass calibration and GPS lock are fine as I tested that in the garden.
I am led to believe that you should always do an advanced IMU calibration after a firmware update......
Can you not make up a connector to a car light bulb and discharge with that?
You would have to monitor the pack valtage to ensure you don't take it down too far
