The other strange thing is that while in Camera mode the iPad screen shows no noise, only while in Video mode. The pics have the same noise though when I get take them off the card. hmm

The noise appears with the LED lights on or off.

I feel like I've gone through every setting in the app 500 times. It must be something else... Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Back from arm repair. Thanks, @hunch . However, I cannot get any stills or video on any setting(s) without the 'snow' as seen below. Anyone with ideas on why this might be happening?

Thank for the heads up! How about the ribbon cable? No idea how to replace it...

Any suggestions for parts? It was a bit of a hard landing, but it's only 3mo. old!
