Watched it this morning. I WAS RIGHT I WAS RIGHT I WAS RIGHT. Haha /sarcasm
GMass watched probably 20-30 of his videos yesterday (what else is there to do when nursing a killer hangover after going on a proper bender??). He's got a great TedX speech, linked below. He's not a great public...
How many bug strikes can a blade take before its internal structure integrity is to be questioned?
GMass gets bug guts, large or small, slung on the body of the aircraft after almost every flight.
Gmass had a similar moment. He fought the forced landing long and hard and it reached land at less than 6' altitude and landed within 10' of the water. Had he waited even one sec longer to turn around he'd be trying to sell a P4 controller and two spare batteries in the classified section.
But if you're following FCC regulations and don't take your eyes off the drone, you shouldn't be needing, using or even glancing at that while in flight.
But thanks.
If you've got a link handy, I'd like to read on the study methodology and results. Not that it matters a ton - I keep them charged because my flights are a bit spontaneous.
I guess. TBH, I'm not sure what the compass on the RC / tablet have to do with the operation of the drone. I don't know of any tilt-based operations on the controller side of the device so I'm not sure what use it even serves. I often leave my r/c on my trunk when I fly (using full-size iPad...
The issue is if the compass is "calibrated" with interference on the ground, the lack of that interference in the air may cause issues. The bird is expecting the compass baseline to be the same on the ground and in the air, and if the baseline is set with interference, the measurements will be...
Is there any empirical evidence that there's a substantial decrease of battery function with this storing-while-charged nonsense? Has anyone taken two brand new batteries, used them equally, though stored one discharged and one charged and measured their actual performance?
GMass has to register as a sex offender because he followed the manual's direction and removed his pants (to get button, rivets and zipper away) when calibrating the compass.
