I don’t think it’s bad for the controller or battery but it just puts more stress on the charger itself. I’ve seen an IR temp gun on single and dual charging and the charger gets hotter!
Certainly don’t do it and leave the house.
Altitude on your HUD is also defined by your take off position. If you couldn’t see the AC then are you certain that the water level you were flying over was the same?
Begs the question. Why would you use ND filters AND shoot auto?
The only point of ND filters is to achieve a proper cinematic motion blur look by locking you shutter to double your frame rate. Use ISO of between 100-400 to expose and you’re done. [emoji106]
If you need more/less exposure, you...
Look for a class 10 speed card.
Some are now approved for over 100mbps data rates. The Mavic shoots AVCi100 at 4K so with these better formats available we’re all going to require faster cards. Look further than just the size stamped on the front of the card.
It sounds obvious but read the manual and don’t fly until you understand it.
Update all firmware.
Make first flights on a large flat field in beginner mode.
Experience flights in ATTI mode and understand all the modes.

Resolve Studio unlocks it’s denoiser tool but unfortunately it’s expensive - I have access to it at work because I work in post-production for TV.
I use a P3A shooting D-Log and must admit I also see some noise. I shoot 2.7K and custom -2/-2/-2 in full manual ISO 100 with a shutter of 50 and 25...
Potential peeping tom. So the default assumption is peeping tom until proven guilty? It was a harmless flight near some houses. I think the main issue here is that flying so close is probably annoying in terms of noise. If you’re doing that a few times per week as he suggests (if I see that...
It’s all in the battery manual.
Discharge starts at days preset.
Once begun, it’ll discharge to safe level.
If left for very long period, it’ll go into other mode to prevent complete discharge.
Press the button on the battery it’ll reset the discharge process
I get the top up logic but surely that’s not worth doing if you’ve fully charged the day before? The discharge won’t kick in until after 2 days and you can also prevent auto discharge by pressing the battery button which effectively resets the counter for the auto discharge. [emoji106]
