Here's another possibility: VRS. If you're on the windward side, a 5mph wind is 2.23 m/s (pointing up). If you're running current fw, then you can descend at 2m/s for a total of 4.23m/s down in the "fluid" of atmosphere, more than enough for VRS. Now, if you're running older fw, it could...

I don't know why it wouldn't, particularly since the camera does not point straight down. At worst you may have to cut away a bit of the plate, but I don't think you would need to. Any other commenters out there? Thanks...

I'm a glider pilot, so I know from seat of the pants experience (though thankfully, not at 30'): 1) Windward side of a ridge can have some amazing updrafts, and conversely, 2) Leeward side of the ridge can have some vicious downdrafts! Flying on the lee to stay out of the wind perhaps?

I went with the DaVinci 1.0. Shipped overnight from Amazon US (PRIME got me 2nd day free, but I'm about 15 miles from a big distribution center, so it came next day.) Quality is very good, and I'm still learning. I've found that to get the really smooth finish requires an acetone treatment...
